Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway.

Hello again! We have had a few lovely walks at Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway after we decided to get annual family tickets. The girls love it and so do we. At the moment there are still some late rhododendrons flowering and the colours are fantastic.

The little steam engine took us on a tour through the gardens.

 This huge Wisteria was spectacular.

As was this Laburnum.

The paths were lovely for the girls to run and explore in.

Then we came to the pond where the carp are very friendly!

Exbury House.

We carried on walking and came to this viewpoint across the water.

The girls enjoyed collecting fallen flowers to thread on a stick as a flower wand.

And then we came back up to the formal gardens at the top. These were looking really lovely with peonies, orchids, poppies and many others.
Allium and Aquilegia.

Perfect Peonies!

I hope you enjoyed the stroll through the gardens. There are so many little hidden paths that mean along with the changing flowers and seasons there will always be something new to see.

See you soon,
