Sunset Meadow Walk and Fun

Hello again! This week we have had some more gorgeous sunshine so we have been able to have some evening walks. The meadow across the road has some really lovely tall grasses with red and pink hues which looked really pretty as the sun was setting.

So much fun when the grass is taller than you are!

My sewing machine is still being naughty so here is a sneak peek of what I have been working on.

We had a few lovely walks at Lepe where we ran about in some lovely Oxeye Daisies (Big Sparkle was the one to tell me what they were, I was quite impressed!) and then we found something a bit exciting...

Wild Foxgloves.

...What's that???!!! A monster from the deep! We think it was a Barrel Jellyfish.

Another beautiful sunset at Lepe Beach.

We had a lovely day out at Totten Family Fun Day. The lovely thing about this was that everything was free and they collected cans of food at the entrance. We watched some Tae Kwon Do demonstrations and then met up with friends and found our way to the bouncy castles, face painting and other fun. The weather was brilliant again and there was a really good sense of community.

Fun on the bouncy castle.
Big Sparkle lost her first tooth so she had a visit from the Tooth Fairy!

The tooth fairy's letter is in a heart shape that folds into its own envelope. How sweet is that?!
Hope you have had a fantastic week too,

  1. It never ceases to amaze me the weather in this country been so varied. There you are in your summer finery and here I sit with a winter sweater on and still feeling cold. I love the note from the tooth fairy, a real delight.
